A thoroughly interesting article in BlogTO today regarding a recent spat between the Gourmet Gringos food truck and the Liberty Village BIA (Business Improvement Association).
The BIA’s position is that food trucks take customers (and profits) away from local businesses, businesses who contribute to local improvement initiatives through the BIA.
Proponents of the food trucks argue that the presence of food trucks actually attract more people to the area, much to the benefit of the local businesses.
