Snacks and Nibbles
A holiday just would not be complete without some delectable edibles. There are many places to choose from in Liberty Village such as cupcakes baked at For the Love of Cake or gourmet chocolate truffles and other sweets from The Golden Apple. Ginger anything seem synonymous with the December holidays, so make sure to take home some delicious cookies from Mad Batter Bakers. And for something quick or for ingredients to make those home made specialities from a family recipe, be sure to visit the Bulk Barn.
Home Decor
West Elm are holiday decorating specialists. They have their specialty Trim Shop, stocking anything and everything to make that tree sparkle in the perfect way. Also, they have ample serveware for all of the entertaining that will happen. Check out their selection of decor that has a portion of proceeds being donated to Sick Kids Hospital. Other notable stores to visit for decorating needs include EQ3 and Structube.
Let There Be Lights
Light up this season and add a festive glow. Home Hardware is a one stop shop for lighting needs. Christmas lights for the tree, or outdoor ready bulbs suitable for a condo balcony can all be found here. Consider purchasing LED lights. It will help lower the cost on the hydro bill and the bulbs do tend to have a much longer life span. And if what is desired is not in store at the moment, Home Hardware is very accommodating in ordering in special items.
