As we are partially through December, it brings a sense of community and support. It is the time of year when many of us celebrate in good cheer and good company. Come visit some of Liberty Village’s fantastic pop-ups and sample sales happening just in time to treat oneself or to grab some last pieces to finish off holiday gifts.

Word on the Street Book Sale

Happening on December 7th and 8th from 10am-5pm on both days, this is the perfect spot to pick up books for that book worm on your list. What is unique about The Word on the Street is that they are a not for profit and one of their mandates is to celebrate and promote Canadian authors. One hundred percent of the of the proceeds raised from the sale will be put back into the organization for future promotion and operating costs of the not for profit.

A coveted, talented and beautiful jewellery designer. Now is the chance to add an Erin Tracy piece to your jewellery collection. Not only is she a Canadian designer having been featured in the Canadian Jeweller and Globe and Mail, she calls Liberty Village home. Erin creates beautiful everyday pieces as well as fine jewellery and bridal collections.

8Space Holiday Pop-Up

The inaugural 8space Holiday Pop-Up is happening on December 15th and 16th featuring some Liberty Village vendors.

Gifts. Goodies. Treats. Cheer. What more could anyone want? The home of 8Space and Partial Gallery have kindly donated their space to be taken over by a handful of vendors to showcase their goods. Some recognizable Liberty Village artists and food vendors will be on site, including Smitten Kitten, Reeshe Jewellery, Romancing Your Brand, Mercury Eyewear, Monforte Dairy, Freshii, For the Love of Cake, Nadia Lloyd Toronto, and William’s Landing. In lieu of table fees, vendors have been asked to make a small donation to the neighborhood not for profit organization Autism Ontario.

Cheese? Yes please! The great folks at Monforte Dairy will be opening for a few days in December to allow everyone to get their holiday treats. Monforte Dairy is a household name, having been a consistent vendor at the weekly Liberty Village Farmer’s Market and can be found at many other markets throughout Toronto. Visit Monforte Dairy Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm-7pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm until December 23rd.
