One of sports biggest nights of the year is happening on Sunday, February 4th with the Philadelphia Eagles versus the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII kicking off at 6:30 pm. With an estimated 113.3 million viewers last year according to fortune.com, it not only brings together not only football fans and sports enthusiasts, ut many people who love pop culture with the game’s coveted half -time performanced. This year, Justin Timberlake will take the stage (hopefully without any incidents unlike his last appearance in 2004). Some people prefer to watch the game in the comfort of their own home, or consider venturing out to any one of our amazing Liberty Village establishments.

Local Public Eatery – 100-171 E Liberty St

Expect a fun and easy going atmosphere at Local Public Eatery.

A definite hotspot hangout, Local delivers a constant rotation of beer and an oversized living room feel. Seems like a great way to watch the big game! On game day, play some football trivia, enjoying the football square, $4 Steam Whistles are on tap, $6 double Caesars, and all of the regular Sunday specials patrons have come to look forward to.

William’s Landing – 120 Lynn Williams St

With an epic view of the neighbourhood and a fresh rejuvenated look (remember they did renovations last spring), William’s Landing wants to ensure they create a spectacular game day experience. They will be offering a buffet for $25 per person. In addition., a DJ will be spinning live tunes, and guests can enjoy the savoury meat from a live pig roast. The beer will be constantly flowing and it will be no doubt a great time here.

Shoeless Joes – 1189 King St W

At the corner of Mowat Ave and King St W, Shoeless Joes will have a view for everyone to watch the game.

Interested in a more straight-forward experience with some good beer and lots of TVs? Shoeless Joe’s may just be the place. With 48 TVs mounted throughout the restaurant and bar (including at some of the booths), no matter where a guest sits, they will have a view of the game. Mini pitchers of Creemore beer will be on tap for $10.75 or pints are available for $7 each.

Liberty Commons – 42 Liberty St

Take a seat at the bar on in the lounge and enjoy the game in style.

Enjoy the game with commentary and sound on at Liberty Commons. They offer both bar and lounge seating. Happy Hour specials for $3.50 will be available from 5pm-7pm.

The Craft Brasserie – 107 Atlantic Ave

The sound will be on and have your pick of beer here.

Almost endless options of beer on tap are available at The Craft Brasserie, 120 to be exact. It is a great spot to catch the game because they have lots of screens and will have the sound on. Not to mention, they have a fantastic food menu.

Grab and go with a few cans from the Bottle Shop.

Heading out to a restaurant or bar to watch the Superbowl may not be for everyone. Grab some Big Rock beer available at the Bottle Shop at 42 Liberty St. Many of our local businesses offer awesome takeout options or party planners. Or better yet, stay in and have food delivered to your place with one of the delivery services like Uber Eats, Door Dash, Foodora or Skip the Dishes.
