Our friends at Maizal Quesadilla Cafe have announced a Valentine’s Day event to be held at the restaurant between 8-10pm on the evening of.
The event will celebrate the popular Mexican dance form of Danzón. In Mexico, it is not uncommon to see Danzón in the main plazas of Veracruz, Oaxaca and Mexico City, and in yearly festivals across Mexico. Some describe it as scandalous and others as simply a romantic hommage to tradition.
