GreenP Mobile Pay parking lots in Liberty Village have just kicked it up a notch for customers!  Mobile pay works as an alternative method of payment in addition to the traditional but commonly used credit card or coin machine insertion. Partnering with the Liberty Village BIA, they have just launched a 60 day pilot project to create a new value added feature with the use of mobile purchase parking. As a true testament of Liberty Village being the creative and technology hub of Toronto, the City has selected our neighborhood as the inaugural testing zone. We all know that there are no shortage of Millennials and tech savvy individuals roaming the streets. It only makes sense to build on an existing infrastructure and encourage individuals to stay and linger longer here. Similar to other major cities in Canada and North America, customers who opt in, will be texted coupons or offers to various participating merchants in Liberty Village after they have used their mobile pay app to purchase parking time.

How Does it Work?

If it is not already downloaded on your mobile device, then take a minute and find the GreenP Mobile app from either the iTunes or Android stores. Should you already have the app, make sure to download the newest update and opt in to receive these coupons and offers.

Currently, the beauty of the GreenP Mobile Pay program, is that it is seamless and easy to pay for parking without having to fumble for change. It can be a challenge to have to bolt from a meeting or delicious meal to go and replenish funds on a parking meter because the allotted time has expired. Mobile pay allows you to pay, track, and extend your parking.

Users will be sent SMS Texts with the offer. Offers will be randomly sent. When patronizing the retailer or restaurant, simply show the offer on your phone to redeem. It’s that easy!

Which Lots Does this Work in?

Currently, the two participating lots are Hanna St, and the Lamport Stadium south lot. The other various parking lots are not affiliated with this program. The Hanna lot is referred to as 224 and Lamport Stadium has the identification code of 181 on the GreenP Mobile app.
