Liberty Village Toronto | Your Online Neighbourhood Guide

The Blog

As the title of the article notes, a few big liquor and beer distributors and agencies call Liberty Village home. Being in the hub and epicentre of innovation and creativity for Toronto, it is no wonder they have chosen to set up operations here!

Campari

The interior design of Campari makes many design enthusiasts jealousy

Representing national brands including Skyy Vodka, Wild Turkey, Appleton Estate and much more, this international company has set up their Canadian headquarters here at 1 Paradee. Not only do they sell luxury liquor, but their office os swoon-worthy too. With a trendy but minimalist vibe, it makes one forget that they do distribute alcohol.

Le Somelier

As premium wine agents, they take pride in bringing international,  beautiful wines to Ontario. Specializing in supplying restaurants, private groups and parties, they are also available to help individuals choose the best wine for their needs. Wine must be purchased by the case, however, with their expertise, customers are never left disappointed.

Moosehead

The popular East Coast brewery has an office here. It is noted as the “last major brewery in Canada still owned by Canadians”. Moosehead is available at some of our local bars and of course at the Beer Store.

Big Rock Brewery

Alberta based Big Rock Brewery has opened a retail outlet in Liberty Village

Having moved into the neighbourhood in late 2016, we warmly welcome their presence here and the beautiful bottle shop. Take some tall boys home or back to the office to enjoy. Looking to have a party or event supplied with Big Rock beer? They can help make that happen! Visit them at 42 Liberty St.

Spirits Canada

Considered the voice for spirits, this company produces many products which include Gin, Rum, Vodka, Whiskey and more. They are most notably known for their Canadian Whiskey. Other major brands associated with Spirits Canada include Bacardi, Diageo and Black Velvet.

Liberty Village Brewing Co.

A brew named after our neighbourhood

While not officially operating out of Liberty Village, we have included them because their product is named after our neighbourhood. Pouring on tap at Brazenhead and at The Craft Brasserie, cans can also be purchased at the Liberty Village and King St W and Spadina LCBO locations. The 504 Pale Ale, “is an American-style pale ale, brewed and heavily dry-hopped with citra and Czech Saaz hops” (taken from the Liberty Village Brewing Co.’s official website).

However you indulge, please, no matter what, enjoy responsibly.  Cheers!
