Liberty Village Toronto | Your Online Neighbourhood Guide

The Blog

We’ve got your plans set for this Thursday evening! The 14th annual Give Me Liberty After Work Party returns. It has a theme of forged in creativity and celebrating Canada 150. Consider leaving work a few moments early and head on over to Fraser Ave where the party will be happening.

Hyper Local Representation

The Liberty Village BIA has done a very conscientious job of ensuring that only Liberty Village based companies are vendors at the party. This event is by Liberty Village for Liberty Village! With over 40 businesses represented covering food, experience and informational needs, there will be new faces and returning friends from last year. Our community has such a strong diversity of different types of companies which include small restaurant entrepreneurs to technology startups to creative agencies and international media powerhouses. Don’t forget to bring your Welcome Tote to the event. There may be some useful coupons in there for the party!

Bring your totes along Perfect for putting new found treasures or business cards and flyers in

There will be something for everyone. Over 10 food vendors will have a sampling of their menus for guests to try. Newly opened Liberty Commons will have an item or two, legendary Italian food extraordinaire Caffino will be serving delicious fare and many other local favourites will be on hand.

Sports fans will get to experience and buy tickets to three major sporting teams which include the Toronto Argos, Toronto Wolfpack, and the Toronto FC.

Drink tickets are available through the LVBIA office or at the event

Advanced drink tickets are available through the LVBIA office at a cost of 4 for $20. Email [email protected] for more information. Otherwise, drink tickets are $6 at the event. Big Rock Brewery will be pouring the beer all night and red and white wine will also be available.

New to the party this year is the Beanfield Children’s Zone. A revelation that was discovered last year, is that there were many more kids in the neighbourhood. A bouncy castle, face painting and some other little goodies will be available to make the little ones happy.

Some not so obvious businesses that call Liberty Village home will be available for guests to explore, ask questions and hopefully walk away with some extra knowledge and contacts. Coach House Law, Kase Insurance, Job Start, Jukebox Print and Resonator will all be at the event.

Made Possible by Fantastic Partners and Sponsors

With the support of the LVBIAs Platinum Partners this event will surely be a great night

Many of our local companies and businesses help make Give Me Liberty possible. Eight Platinum Partners, which are considered year round partners are key. These include Beanfield, The Toronto Carpet Factory, Hullmark Developments, First Capital Realty, Meridian Credit Union, Kase Insurance, Paramount Fine Foods and the Toronto Argos. Give Me Liberty event sponsors include Big Rock Brewery, Roland Canada, The Fueling Station, Kevric Developments and Liberty Village Home Hardware.

See everyone at Give Me Liberty!
