Winterlicious has always been that time of the year between New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day that gives us a reason to check out new restaurants. This year, Winterlicious runs from January 25th through to February 7th. There are over 200 participating Toronto restaurants to chose from. You can enjoy dishes from the Culinary Event Series or the Prix Fixe Promotion menu.

It’s a great way to get in touch with Toronto’s food culture and try something new. This year’s Liberty Village favourite is the Liberty Commons. You can choose from their $23 prix fixe lunch or $33 dinner.

If you haven’t been to this urban gastropub, now’s a great time to check it out. Liberty Commons is a collaboration between the Alberta-based Big Rock Brewery and Oliver & Bonacini, who have overseen the development of restaurants like Canoe and Bannock. Throughout the popular Liberty Village restaurant, you’ll find flat-screens, booths, neon touches, and impressive menu of flights, cocktails, salads, and BBQ platters. Choose to sit either downstairs or upstairs, both carrying their own unique atmospheres.

Reservations are already being taken for Winterlicious so be sure to book now. Though you don’t need a reservation to enjoy a meal through the Winterlicious prix fixe promotion, it is recommended. Liberty Commons has near-perfect reviews online and remains a highly acclaimed hot-spot among local residents. The food is always high quality and delicious, the prices are extremely fair, and perhaps most importantly, service has always been fast and accurate.

All in all, Liberty Commons is the place to be in Liberty Village – at least from now until February 7.

Welcome to Winterlicious 2019 in Liberty Village!
