We are very pleased that LibertyVillageToronto.com has become as read and as popular as it has. Our goal has always been to create a platform for residents and businesses to find information and each other. In addition, we want to help foster a neighbourhood where there once was none.
The tiny downtown neighbourhood in Toronto that I grew up in had a great sense of community. Most people knew each other. Neighbours often used the neighbourhood bulletin board to sell used items, look for babysitter/dog walkers or make others aware of something relating to the neighbourhood. Our new forum is meant to be our own neighbourhood bulletin board and we truly hope that you will use it. Register, receive your password and start posting.
Whether you have something to sell, are looking for something to buy, have a restaurant or local business to review, an issue to discuss relating to our neighbourhood, really anything.
We just integrated it yesterday and there are already a couple of postings. Don’t be shy, let’s start small and build it. It’s a great step towards building a great community.
Can you please let your community members know that the Per Se Mobile food truck will be in Liberty Village on August 29th from 12pm-2pm at 32 Atlantic Avenue. The food truck is famous for it’s shrimp tacos and jerk chicken sandwich.
