People flock to Mildred’s for brunch from all over the city. Mildred’s is one of the more highly acclaimed, upscale options serving brunch all seven days a week. At Mildred’s, feel free to indulge and splurge on any number of the menu items. Some of the most ordered items include the mimosas, their fluffy blueberry pancakes, big brunch skillets, and tarts.

School Bakery and Cafe – 70 Fraser Avenue
If you don’t want to shell out for a high-scale offering, the School Bakery and Cafe is on par with any brunch place in Liberty Village. School Bakery and Cafe’s most popular menu items include their cheesy bacon French toast, buttermilk fried chicken and waffles, the towering stack of flapjacks, and even deep-friend peanut butter and jam sandwiches. Having been established in Liberty Village since 2011, the upscale-casual diner is open 7 days a week and is well known for its majestic view of the neighborhood from the second story patio. The locally produced menu is built around the principles of FLOSS – fresh, local, organic, sustainable and seasonal. Meet up with a friend and enjoy a menu of village hub snacks, shareables, salads such as the kale caesar, or any selection off their entrée selection.

Brazen Head – 165 East Liberty Street
The Irish pub styled Brazen Head also serves up a mean brunch for those that are a fan of the sports-friendly exposed-brick interior. Brazen Head is well known for its traditional Irish dishes, friendly service, and for the cozy two-storey atmosphere. This location also boasts a unique view of the Toronto skyline from any of their three patios. Open 7 days a week, Brazen Head begins serving brunch at 10 am on weekends and 11 am on week days. If you’ve already been to the other brunch restaurants in Liberty Village, don’t neglect to visit Brazen Head as you won’t be disappointed.
