Liberty Village Toronto | Your Online Neighbourhood Guide

The Blog

As of Monday evening, the highly anticipated, last remaining developable parcels in Liberty Village has officially climbed to 20 of its 28 floors. It’s hard to believe Lifetime Developments began the redevelopment of the 6 acre plot over 15 years ago, and now, just 2 years into the tower’s construction, Liberty Market Tower is in its final stages of development.

Latest Developments

Most notably are the interior finishes which are advancing quickly in the building’s lower levels. From window wall cladding with spandrel panels to mullions, there has been fantastic progress since the first brick-embedded precast panels were laid back in September 2020.

The Final Product

With over 12,000 of indoor and outdoor square footage, Lifetime Developments has appointed the award-winning Wallman Architects as designer of the building. The interiors will be a state-of-the-art collaboration between Cecconi Simone and distinguished artist Anthony Riccardi. The ultimate height of the tower will reach almost 100 metres tall (99.97 metres) and will hold 281 luxury condominium units with retail and office space dispersed amongst the lower levels. Amenities of the building will include: an intricate fitness centre and fitness studio, a freight lounge, a private dining and conference room, BBQ terrace & games room.

Residential layouts will range from 1 to 3 bedroom floor plans and the finest units will have stunning views of Lake Ontario.

Lifetime Developments anticipates occupancy as early as late 2021, but only time will tell with the recently placed “Stay-At-Home” Order and corresponding halt on construction.
